Guests are always welcome at our meetings so please join us if you have an interest in learning more about us or are considering becoming a member. You do not need to currently own or show dogs to participate. CKC offers numerous events and activities for pure bred and mixed breed dogs that may be just what you're looking for.

Plan to join us at our April 27-28-29, 2018 agility trial to be held at Susan Wilton's beautiful agility field in Alamogordo!












The field is completely fenced for safety with a level, extremely well maintained grass surface.












Entries open February 12. The premium is available through trial secretary Cindy Blanton. Online entries through AKC are accepted.

All-Breed Herding Clinics

The Mesquite Australian Shepherd Club will be hosting several All-Breed Herding Clinics this year featuring noted clinician, trainer and handler Cappy Pruett from Hudson, CO. Clinics are open to all breeds and levels, from first timers to seasoned competitors. If you're interested in participating, or just auditing to  learn more about this fun and challenging sport, please contact Michele Mauldin (575) 491-6859 or Gloria Damewood (575) 491-2818. Working slots are limited so sign up early.
