Our members are active in a wide

Our club hosts four days of AKC conformation shows and obedience/rally trials the first weekend of October at the La Velle Road Park, south west of Alamogordo. Many of the country's top winning dogs representing numerous breeds are exhibited as well as top notch competition obedience dogs showcase their talents at our shows each fall.
Welcome
The Chaparral Kennel Club is a member club of the American Kennel Club.
We support the responsible ownership and breeding of pure bred dogs and encourage the humane care, training and treatment of all dogs. We offer community events to promote those ideals as well as educate the public about the many venues available to share with our canine companions. Our club proudly provides financial assistance through our Spay/Neuter Fund to newly adopted shelter dogs in our area.
Three days of fast
paced agility trials are held annually the second weekend of July in the picturesque cool pines of Cloudcroft, New Mexico.
Dinner meetings are held
the first Wednesday of each month except July.
